Sacramento Youth Band

The Sacramento Youth Band (SYB) is a non-profit organization that consists of a Concert Band, a Marching Band, 2 Jazz Bands, and a Junior Band. The SYB has been educating young musicians in the Sacramento area since 1957, all the while providing them with a place to meet new friends, expand their musical abilities, and travel to exciting places like Disneyland, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Discovery Kingdom, and more!

If you would like to give SYB a try, we welcome you to come to one of our rehearsals and sit in, or you can visit our "Join SYB" page and fill out the form to have someone contact you about membership. Membership is only $30 per month for the entire family.

Rehearsal Schedule:

Concert/Marching Band: Monday evenings, 7:00-8:30 p.m.

Junior Band: Monday evenings, 7:00-8:00 p.m.

Advanced Jazz Ensemble
(River City Swingers): Sunday evenings, 6:30-8:00 p.m.

Intermediate Jazz Ensemble
(Razzamajazz): Sunday evenings, 5:00-6:15 p.m.

Group Lessons: Monday evenings, 6:30-7:00 p.m. & 8:00-8:30 p.m.

Colorguard: Seasonal, starts again in Spring
